🚔 TBI Spa Investigation Includes Kingsport Among Targeted Locations
Ten women in Tennessee have been arrested as part of a statewide operation to “identify and recover victims of sex and labor trafficking at spas” in the state, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI). The TBI stated six spas and a home were identified as locations potentially engaged in illegal activities, including prostitution, promotion of prostitution, and impersonating a licensed professional. The release listed Kingsport as a location where victims were sought, but did not name a specific business.

🔪 Stabbing Near Kingsport Under Investigation; Suspect Still Being Sought
The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an alleged stabbing that took place near Kingsport Thursday night, reported at around 10:10 p.m. in the 100 block of Holiday Hills Road. Deputies arrived to find a man who had reportedly been stabbed multiple times; he was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect is described as a heavy-set white male with a beard, believed to be driving an SUV — anyone with information is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office.
