🌊 Sullivan County Authorities Identify Man Recovered from Boone Lake

The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man recovered from Boone Lake as 35-year-old Aaron Mathes of Johnson City. Witnesses reported seeing something fall from the Highway 11E bridge before hearing someone call for help. Deputies and Bluff City Police recovered Mathes’ body, and the incident remains under investigation. Authorities do not suspect foul play.
