🚒 Kingsport Fire Department Gets New Live-Fire Training Building
The new, portable Live-Fire Training Structure at the Kingsport Fire Training Facility has recently wrapped up construction, and will hold various live-fire scenarios for firefighters at all experience levels. It offers the chance to learn everything from fire behavior, growth and development to smoke and heat conditions, and is made of shipping containers configured as a two-story building with multiple rooms and interior spaces. Fire Chief Jerry DeBerry says it took around a year to construct the facility.
