🚧 TDOT Updates Memorial Boulevard Improvement Project
Work on the Memorial Boulevard improvement project in Kingsport continues to move forward. Crews are currently working on the first of three planned phases, covering 2.1 miles between East Center Street and Briarwood Road. The project includes new retaining walls, upgraded traffic signals, and new sidewalks along the route. The first phase carries an $82.3 million price tag, and TDOT officials say the work is expected to finish by September 2029.
