Kingsport Man Charged with Attempted Murder After Domestic Incident
A Kingsport man is facing attempted murder and other charges following an early morning incident in the Orebank community. According to the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office, Isaiah Joseph Campbell, 29, fired a gun at a vehicle during an argument with a family member, endangering someone standing behind it — no injuries were reported. Campbell was later located in Russell County, Virginia, and taken into custody.

Liberty Celebration Rehearses for Patriotic Performances This Weekend
Kingsport’s beloved Liberty Celebration, a patriotic musical extravaganza featuring a 150-voice choir, an orchestra, dancers, and voice actors, is rehearsing ahead of two performances this weekend. The event, themed “America 250 Strong,” will be held at the Toy F. Reid Employee Center on Friday, June 26 at 7:00 PM and Saturday, June 27 at 2:00 PM. Tickets are available at the Eastman Employee Center, the Chamber of Commerce, and from choir members.
