Kingsport Man Sentenced to 24 Years for Fentanyl and Meth Distribution
A Kingsport man has been sentenced to 24 years in federal prison for conspiring to distribute fentanyl and methamphetamine in the Model City. According to the U.S. Attorney’s office, a jury convicted Aaron Tyshawn Jackson of conspiracy to distribute large quantities of both drugs, with evidence showing he purchased the narcotics in Chattanooga and brought them to Kingsport for distribution. The investigation involved multiple agencies including the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Kingsport Police Department, and the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office.
