A restaurant with new cuisine recently opened its doors in Johnson City, with 787 Bar & Grill holding its grand opening at 1000 S. Roan St., where traditional Puerto Rican-style food was on the menu. From Pincho cups, empanadas and snow cones, to free food for kids, a bounce house, prize giveaways and free t-shirts for the first customers, the celebration was in full effect. Owner Keanu Knapp spoke about how giving back to the community was a part of the culture he grew up with in Puerto Rico.
