Healthy Kingsport Named Finalist for National Award
Healthy Kingsport has been named a finalist for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s 2026 Citizens Awards. The Kingsport Chamber initiative is a finalist for Best Health and Wellness Program for its work to improve community health and reduce barriers to healthy choices. Winners will be announced October 27th and 28th.

Pedestrian Seriously Injured After Being Struck on Stone Drive
A pedestrian suffered serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Stone Drive Wednesday night. The victim was flown to a hospital for treatment. Kingsport police are investigating the crash.
Injured Kingsport Firefighters Released from Hospital After I-26 Crash
All four Kingsport Fire Department members who were struck by a vehicle while working a crash scene on I-26 have been released from the hospital. The firefighters were hit while on duty at an accident scene on the interstate. Charges are pending against the driver involved.
Woman Arrested After Making Threats at Allandale Falls Apartments
Kingsport police arrested a woman after she allegedly made threats at the Allandale Falls Apartments. The incident follows a previous critical incident at the same complex that was resolved by authorities last week. Kingsport PD handled the situation and took the suspect into custody.
New Photo Challenge Coming to Downtown Kingsport
