🍗 Kingsport’s Wing Fling Returns November 5
The 8th annual Wing Fling returns to the Kingsport Farmers Market on November 5, and organizers said this year’s event will feature more chicken wing vendors than ever before. Tickets are $20 and go on sale online at KPTWingFling.com or at the Kingsport Chamber (400 Clinchfield Street). A panel of first responders from the Kingsport Fire Department, Kingsport Police Department, Sullivan County EMS, and the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office will serve as official judges, selecting winners in several wing categories, including a first-ever “ZachBites Favorite Flavor” award.

🏀 Intermediate Basketball Skills & Drills — Tuesdays in September 2026
Kingsport Parks and Recreation is offering an Intermediate Basketball Skills and Drills program in September for children interested in learning advanced skills. The four-week intermediate program will be held at the V.O. Dobbins, Sr. Complex (301 Louis Street) on Tuesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
🏕️ Kids’ Day Out Camp — September 8, 2026
Kingsport Parks and Recreation is offering a special Kids’ Day Out camp on September 8 — the same day as a Kingsport City Schools’ in-service day. This one-day camp will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the V.O. Dobbins, Sr. Complex (301 Louis Street). The cost is $15 per child.
