📜 Today in Johnson City History

A century ago today in 1926, a preliminary hearing was set for four young men accused in the death of Carl Miller on the Elizabethton highway, after Miller’s father alleged his son had been beaten before being placed in front of an oncoming car — a surprising twist to a death first thought to be a simple traffic accident.
