It’s pretty simple. I grew up Jewish. My father escaped Nazi-occupied Germany and my yiddeshe momma makes the best chopped liver. One day another Jewish man, fully divine, who died, was buried, and rose again for the sins of the world, called me to be His follower. Today I am fully Jewish and fully Christian and I love proclaiming the good news in authentic ways and equipping fellow Christians to do the same. You can read more about my testimony at larrystamm.org. In 2013 I founded Larry Stamm Ministries. The mission of our organization is to make the Gospel of Jesus a confident topic of conversation for every Christian. We want you to be confident in sharing your faith with others. To that end we offer many resources, including my latest book, INTO THE GALE, about sharing your faith when it is mocked, marginalized, and misunderstood. I am also passionate about making connections between the Old and New Testaments and to that end we offer equipping events. The scripture comes alive in fresh ways through my lens as a Jewish Christian. Visit our website to learn more about our teaching ministry.

Keith Yonker, owner/Certified Executive Chef, was born and raised in the Chicago "region". He had a passion for the culinary arts starting at a young age and his career has led him all over the U.S....working for a variety of restaurants and resorts. Keith has worked for Morton's in California, at Charlie's Crab in Palm Beach, Casa Restaurants in Fort Wayne, and Starwood Resorts in Cape Cod. In 2015, Keith moved to the Tri-Cities to oversee the seven cafes at Eastman as their Artisan Chef. He's always wanted to make his home in East Tennessee. One of his greatest culinary honors was when Keith was selected for the National Pizza Team (twice) and competed in Italy placing 8th in the world. Keith is excited to introduce Chicago inspired Italian to Eastern Tennessee. Keith says his philosophy is simple. "We wish to provide you with the best in authentic Chicago style pizza and sandwiches, surround you with a place that makes you feel welcome, where you meet old friends for lunch and dinner, and make new ones. And, where you can always catch a game on and leave full and satisfied." Oh, and if you are wondering WHY we call it The Angry Italian...just lean your ears toward our kitchen. You will figure it out. (He's really not angry, just animated.) We appreciate your business and hope you come back again soon!

Did you know that Zak’s Furniture started out as a TV and Electronics store? Back in 1959, my father and my Uncle, Marvin Howard, started a joint venture specializing in TV’s and TV repair. This store was named “Bowman- Howard” and was located in the old Peerless Center. During the early 60’s, my father and uncle would dabble into selling other things such as carpet, and eventu?ally some furniture. They quickly developed a passion for the furni?ture retail industry and decided to open a furniture retail store in Boones Creek and relocated Bowman-Howard to Boones Creek in 1968. After tremendous suc?cess from their furniture retail activities, and seeing where the elec?tronics industry was heading, my father and uncle decided to focus strictly on furniture and merged the two stores into one larger furni?ture store. I can’t remember the exact date, but this was around the early 70’s timeframe. So essentially, what started as a 10,000 sq. ft. tv store turned into 160,000 sq. ft. of facilities on 14 acres of land. Zak’s is now a regional home furnishings campus serving East Tennessee, Southwest Virginia and Western North Carolina. Zak’s even reaches into Eastern Kentucky and West Virginia as well.
